Arghavan, a woman at the verge of middle age, and her husband take their dog to the vet. They realize that someone has forced the dog to eat a lot of sweets and now it will probably go blind.
Arghavan does not want to keep the dog anymore so they have to find a place for it. She attempts to kill the dog and when her husband finds out about this, a secret reveals: the woman’s boss has raped her while the dog was witnessing. The woman is devastated but she is not able to kill the dog.
